Oregon Spectator     Oregon City has been the home of many great newspapers as well as the first newspaper, the Spectator. Although it only operated from 1846-1855 other's have followed behind and even published in the same building as the Spectator. This first newspaper in the Oregon Territory was very influential and there were many other firsts for this paper in the journalism field.
